Update!

imageMy daughter was born 4/4 and is now 3 weeks old! Her name is Wren Alice and she is the most precious thing ever. She definitely is a princess.

When I gave birth I was around 170 lbs, meaning I had gained ~50 lbs during pregnancy as pre-pregnancy I was 117-120 lbs. Of course I’m still on my journey to weight loss again, and my goal is to get to 100 lbs. I also have returned to pescetarianism again and for the most part have given up dairy. I am currently 137.0 lbs. I’m excited to start working on myself again and I think it will make me a better mother in the long run.

Yesterday, being the frugal shopper I’m working on becoming, I bought a few things from the Goodwill which included sports bras, a few tops after I lose baby weight, and an unused bright pink 2 piece swimsuit! I think I said I’ve never actually work a 2 piece in public, but this will be the outfit I wear when I’m taking my progress photos. Maybe I’ll take one in a few weeks before I give birth just for fun. Sadly, I found out yesterday I’m a D-cup :<. I like small boobs, I guess I was still pretending I was a C. I’ll still have plenty of time to lose weight with the baby, anyway.

I also bought a brand new mini fridge. It wasn’t the cheapest thing, but if I change my mind I can return it. And I have a warranty for a few years. Because I don’t live in my own place, and because my BF’s mother is a slob, I have literally less than 20% of the refrigerator to house my food, and not even that, because she throws her moldy left-overs on top of whatever is there. So I’ve been contemplating buying my own refrigerator to put in my room, and made the purchase yesterday. Maybe when it’s up and running I’ll post a pic of my goodies. I also went grocery shopping yesterday. Why don’t I shop at Whole Foods? Because they’re really expensive. Next time, I’ll be going to Trader Joe’s, Global Foods, or a small Asian Market in addition to regular grocery stores.

One last update, I’m pescetarian again. Started yesterday so I’ll put a countdown on my blog. My mom always pesters me to eat meat, saying it’s for the baby, but I refuse to let her break me down anymore. I’m also not planning on giving my baby meat, especially not from jarred baby food, but I have to research that first. I’m also not drinking cow’s milk anymore. I do have WIC, and I hate that the give me an ass-load of milk that even one woman can’t drink alone. So I’m only drinking milk-alternatives such as soy and almond. The dollar store also sells soy milk, which is the cheapest I’ve seen it anywhere for 32 oz.
